Blank Slate!

FINALLY~ we have an empty room!!! After many weeks of transitioning the office, cleaning, and emptying out the 'storage' room lol- we finally have a nursery to start! My friend Chelsea is coming over this week to help paint- since she has some interior design expertise; then daddy will finish putting all the furniture together- which is currently taking up the living room! Stay tuned for nursery updates! We're hoping to have it done within 2 weeks so I can take some maternity pictures in them!

aahhhhh I never thought I'd see this day lol

Daddy is almost done with the hutch and securing it!

Who wants to help put together some more furniture!?!?!

Enjoying the Beautiful Day!

Grandma's Surprise!!!

Looky Looky what we got!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grandma has been wanting a Pram for the little guy for some time now, and we have looked high and low for one-but with no luck! Well, it turns out that Jason's friend Juana had one all along and she was wonderful enough to give it to us!!! We were so excited and knew this would make my mom beyond thrilled!!! So today we got it all ready and walked it over to her house (good thing she only lives 2 blocks away haha) and gave it to her! Now she has her old school stroller and can strut around the neighborhood with her Grandson! Whoohooo!!!

A big thanks to Juana again for all the goodies, she has 3 beautiful children and was kind enough to hand us down some wonderful things. It was truly a blessing and we are so thankful!!!

lol How does the mommy-to-be look!?!?

Even Tommy was excited, so he delivered it with us!!!
He's probably wondering what all this new stuff in the house is for ;)

Babymoon!!!

Jason and I took our "babymoon" this past weekend!!! We thought it would be nice to get away between his busy race schedule and before the baby comes! We decided to stay at my Aunt Karen's vacation home in Palm Desert, CA. It was a beautiful weekend- but super hot! We didn't let that stop us though! We spent everyday in the pool, did a little shopping, explored the area, ate out, ohhh hand Jason cooked me a wonderful dinner (and even cleaned! haha)- he sure knows how to rack up those brownie points ;) It aws so nice to getaway and have some R&R! We definitely noticed I'm having a growth sprt too- woaaaa! I know Bambino enjoyed himself too- he was moving all around 24/7 and even liked the pool haha We can't wait to bring him back with us next time- dip him in the pool and check out the zoo & botanical gardens! Thanks again Aunt Karen!!!
Lazy days frolicking in the pool ;)

GO GRANDPA GO!!!!

Hi Everyone!!!
We are excited to share with you a special event that our dad is participating in. It's called Run for the Wall. It's an annual event that is dedicated to our Prisoners of War and our Missing in Action fellow Americans. Thousands of bike riders are in route together, side by side, to their destination, The Vietnam Memorial in Washington D.C. (The Wall) This ride has been long awaited and our family is so proud of Dad/Grandpa and his dedication to this cause. We hope that you know how much you are appreciated and how much your support through all of these years has meant to us!!! Knowing that you are experiencing this journey for the next 3 weeks puts our souls as ease. You deserve this! Can't wait to see you in a few weeks!!!

RUN TO THE WALL

Mission Statement: To promote healing among ALL veterans and their families and friends, to call for an accounting of all Prisoners of War and those Missing in Action (POW/MIA), to honor the memory of those Killed in Action (KIA) from all wars, and to support our military personnel all over the world.

Philosophy: We strive to maintain a safe, supportive and private atmosphere in which all participants can reflect and heal on their journey to the Vietnam Memorial in Washington, D.C. in the hope that they can return home to a new beginning.

Check out their website for the travel route and awesome pictures of thousands of bike riders traveling to their destination! http://www.rftw.org/

28 Weeks & Counting!!!

First things first~ I hope all the mommies out there had a wonderful Mothers Day!!! I am surrounded by such great women and love them all so much, and I was surprised to be included in their special day! I thought I was just incubating for now- but everyone made it very special for me as well! Especially daddy~ he scored some major brownie points and again I realize what a wonderful husband I have! The day started off with my mom and sisters in the morning, and then we were off to see Jason's family! The only bummer that day- was it was Aunt Dolores's last day here! We miss her already!

Yesterday was our 28 week Dr. appointment, so we got to see Bambino again!!! Its been two months since the last U/S and boy ohhhh boy has he grown! He doesn't even fit in the screen anymore- so we had to look at his body one section at a time. I love his little puckered face and can't wait to meet him! They said he ways about 2 lbs 8 Oz right now and definitely doing well! He is still breech, which explains why he is standing on my bladder- literally! His little toes were pressing exactly against it and that explains the more then unusual pee pressure I always have lol

I can't believe were down to the last 12 weeks! So much to do in so little time! Fortunately daddy's home the next to weekends- and we are soooooo excited! We get to go on our "Babymoon" and also start getting the nursery ready! TICK TOCK the countdown begins!
Love you!!!!
~ Jamie, Jason, and Bambino

Daddy got Bambino and I new vans! (Mine slip on of course since I hate tieing shoes now lol), he also got us a heart monitor so we can listen to bambino play in my belly, a new comfort sleeping pillow (which is amazing!) as well as a newborn photo session! An emotional evening I had~ he is alwasy so sweet and thoughtful!

Spending so time with my mommy!

Special Delivery!!!

Welcome Madison Kaye Real!

We just recieved such great news early this morning!!! My friend Cheri and hubby Nolan welcomed their precious baby girl into the world last night! We were thrilled of the news and had to wait in suspense for 24 hours as she delivered! What a Mothers Day gift! Madison is absolutely precious, as soon as I saw her pictures I started balling- lol it must be the hormones, or maybe just the pure miracle of birth itself! We can't wait to meet her! So a big CONGRATULATIONS to the new mommy & daddy!!!

We Have A Very Special Visitor!

We have been busy bee's lately, but we're excited to share my Aunt Dolores is in town!!! She came out to spend some time with our brother Quentin, but we hog her when we can! (She has A LOT of family to juggle when she comes!) We always love having her here and spending every second we can with her. She's an amazing woman and a huge part of our lives, if only we could convince her to move to Cali from New Jersey ;) I'm excited she gets to "see" her great nephew in my belly before he comes. Jason and I are planning a Jersey trip next year so my Grandma can meet him too and he can get a glimpse of East Coast life, but until then we are so grateful that she came out to see the fam. . . WE LOVE YOU AUNT DOLORES!!!

All is well with us and were coming along! 27 weeks now and lovin every minute! He is moving sooooooo much more now and getting stronger. I feel like his kicks and movements are his way of saying "hi" to us, especially when daddy's home and we're talking! I'm starting to have major nesting instincts and super excited to meet Bambino~ I find myself in a daze just imagining our little guy and what he looks like. We can't wait to have him in our arms! TICK TOCK :)

HAPPY EASTER!!!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!!! It was such a nice day out- perfect for an Easter egg hunt! Jason got home from his trip just in time to join the festivities! We spent the afternoon at Grandma's eating (something I love to do lol), making rice crispy treats (Thanks to a new craving of mine), and had a secret visit from the Eater Bunny to give us an awesome Easter egg hunt! Just think, next Easter we'll have our little guy here to celebrate with us! We can't wait to dress him up all dorky and take him to get Easter bunny pics at the mall hahahah poor kid ;)

Ohhh and today was our 24 week check-up! I think he knew daddy and I were excited for our visit this morning, because he was movin all around like he was doing summer salts lol Our appointment went great and everything is looking good! More of a reality now planning for his arrival and taking care of everything. We registered for the delivery, signed up for our hospital tour, as well as a birthing class. Hearing that little guys heartbeat every month is precious, today he even kicked me right when the Dr. started to listen. (Or maybe he was still hyper from all those Rice Crispy Treats the day before?)

I'm pretty sure I got to the majority of it!

Dominic's face was priceless finding those Easter eggs! He got sooooo excited lol

Bambino's Wonderful Aunties!
Until next time...

22 Weeks and Counting!

Well actually, we're about 24 weeks along now- so I'm just a little behind on my updates, but I thought I'd post up while I have the opportunity! Time is just flying bye lately! Daddy has been super busy with all the races, so he has been traveling a lot. We miss him all the time and look forward to every moment he's home. Bambino even has Daddy's schedule now lol every morning they wake up at the same time- 5:30 sharp! So as Daddy is getting ready for work, Bambino is movin all around... It drives me nuts because I'm too excited to go back to sleep and I just want to spend time with them! At our last Dr. visit he was measuring almost 1 foot long, and according to out preggie books he weighs about a pound- and ohhhh I can feel the changes! I have started to pop, have horrible back pains, and his movements & kicks are getting much stronger! We have our 6 month appointment next week so I will post an update after! I can't believe that our little guy will be here before we know it!
Here are my 22 week belly pics!

Some 23 Weeks Pics...

lol I have noticed my feet starting to disappear- scary!
